We’re excited to kick off conference season with a visit to the Expert Finders System International Forum 2023 in Miami and UKSG23 in Glasgow.
Our new Director of Business Development for the Americas, Mirage Berry, will attend the Expert Finders System conference on the 5th and 6th April. Mirage is looking forward to learning more about what practitioners need from these systems, as well as discussing how Overton can help facilitate engagement between researchers and policy-makers.
Terry Bucknell, our Commercial Director, will be found at stand 50 between the 13th and 15th April for the UKSG conference. Drop by for a chat and find out how universities can use Overton to evidence the impact of their research in the policy world.

Finally, our founder Euan Adie will be presenting at the Annual Societal Impact of Science Conference in Halifax, Canada. The event runs between the 19th and 21st June. He'll join a group of internationally renowned experts to explore how science and research can help tackle global challenges. His session will focus on "Evidence Informed Policy Making". Courses
Those lucky few attending the two-day AESIS course on Methods & Instruments for Assessment will again have the opportunity to meet Euan. This course will explore how research institutes can develop an impact portfolio as well as impact assessment systems. Euan’s session takes place on Thursday 9th March. In it he’ll explain how to measure impact using tools like Altmetric and Overton.
